Beam Bumpers
Beam Bumpers are essential in any area with tight clearances – such as doorways, rack beams, overhead wires, or door overhangs – where there is a risk of someone striking a fixed object. For example, retrieving materials or boxes from racks can become hazardous if workers misjudge the distance between their head and the rack beam.
Head injuries are among the most common injuries for warehouse workers, and Beam Bumpers help mitigate this risk. They cover fixed objects with a layer of highly visible, energy-absorbing material that softens the impact and helps prevent serious injuries.
Beam Bumpers attach to the front and underside of beams. They provide cushioning to protect both the beams from damage and workers from head injuries.
Made from lightweight, high-performance ARPRO®, Beam Bumpers use hook-and-loop fasteners for secure attachment. The closed-cell structural foam absorbs impact energy, significantly reducing the force of collisions.
Installation is simple: the bumpers are secured in place with hook-and-loop straps. These straps make it easy to reposition the bumpers as needed, ensuring flexibility for different locations and applications.
